Samsung goes “green” with recycling program

Samsung Electronics goes environmental friendly with their recycling program for it’s consumer electronic products. For now, it’s available in the US.
Any old and used Samsung electronic product can be dropped off at Samsung affiliated recycling centers. However for non-samsung products there will be charge. Unfortunately they don’t accept Samsung home appliances for recycling.
To be honest, while Samsung’s move for recycling is great idea but it’s not good enough. The recycling program only accepts the electronic products but not the home appliances which consists the big portion of the landfills.
I couldn’t help but think that it’s a marketing gimmick to woo the environmental friendly consumers. Next time they should have stronger recycling program.
